Some of QEnergy's people are:

Steve McRae: Non-executive Chairman. Steve was the first CEO of Energex Retail and has other interests in the Queensland electricity industry.

Murray Hancock: Managing Director. Murray comes from a Queensland family timber business background and brings wide financial and general management expertise in manufacturing, utilities and technology to QEnergy.

Kate Farrar (formerly Kate Skilleter): Chief Operating Officer. Kate was COO of Ergon Retail when it bought Powerdirect and is a widely-recognised expert in electricity markets.

John Edwards: Member Services Manager. John has 12 years experience in the industry, mostly with Powerdirect before joining QEnergy, and is responsible for delivering discount electricity programs to individual members of industry groups.

Pat Milwright: Trade Association Manager. Pat was also with Powerdirect for many years before joining QEnergy and has extensive experience in electricity and other utilities, servicing trade associations and other commercial groups to achieve substantial group and individual member benefits.

Peter Forsyth: IT Manager. Peter was responsible for building the industry-leading online systems at Powerdirect and is performing the same role in QEnergy.
