Getting Connected

Q. How do I get my electricity connected?
A: To arrange for the connection of electricity at your business premises, just call us on 1300 44 85 35. If you’re moving in the next 3 business days call us immediately!

Q. How do I disconnect my electricity?
A: To disconnect the electricity at your existing premises, just call us on 1300 44 85 35. If you’re moving, please mention you’d like to connect your new premises with QEnergy when you’re on the phone and we will waive the Early Termination Fee.

Q. Will I be charged for connection or disconnection?
A: In some cases, disconnection or final reading fees may apply to cover the cost for someone to take an electricity meter reading outside of their normal schedule. These fees are passed on to you from the Distributor and will appear on your bill.

Q. What happens if I move my business and forget to tell QEnergy?
A:You are responsible for the electricity supply until you advise us that you have moved – when we will send a final bill to the premises – or until the new occupant tells us they have moved in.
