The Queensland Government provides a rebate of $230* per year on the cost of electricity supplied to the home of eligible concession card holders.

The card holder must be the registered account holder with the electricity retailer for premises that are their principal place of residence.

Eligible card holders who wish to claim the rebate must, at the electricity retailer’s discretion, either complete a written application form or apply by telephone. Your application must be received by your electricity retailer at least 14 days prior to the preparation of the first electricity account to which the rebate applies.
