Becoming a QEnergy Customer

Q: What happens when I become a QEnergy customer?
A: Shortly after you sign up with QEnergy, you’ll receive a letter which contains our Customer Charter, a guide to everything you need to know about your new energy plan. Your previous energy retailer will also send you a final bill which you’ll need to pay.

Q. How can I tell what rate I am on?
A: Your electricity rates are on the back of your bill under ‘Usage Details’. If you need more information about the rate you're currently on, or to check if you’re on the best possible rate, call us on 1300 44 85 35.

Q. How do I pay in my QEnergy Cashflow Assist Program?
A: In order to keep our costs – and therefore our prices to you – as low as possible, QEnergy directly debits your account monthly by an agreed amount. So that neither of us gets any nasty surprises, we monitor your usage throughout the year, and adjust payments that are widely different from the estimates we both agree. Your bill shows all the details of your usage and payments made – but now it’s for information only. You don’t have to do anything about it, and you’ll never have to worry about late fees!
