The Energy and Water Ombudsman Queensland (EWOQ) is a free, fair and independent dispute resolution service if you are unable to resolve a complaint with your electricity, gas or water supplier. We are committed to providing an effective, efficient and confidential service for residential and small business energy customers across Queensland and water customers in south east Queensland.

Energy and Water Ombudsman New South Wales

The Energy and Water Ombudsman NSW (EWON) provides a free, fair and independent dispute resolution service for all electricity and gas customers in New South Wales, and some water customers.

Energy and Water Ombudsman Victoria

The Energy and Water Ombudsman Victoria (EWOV) is a free, fair and independent dispute resolution service for all electricity and gas customers in Victoria.

Queensland Competition Authority

The Queensland Competition Authority is an independent Statutory Authority which was created as a result of a series of Council of Australian Government agreements which aimed to forge a national approach to the implementation of competition policy.

Its primary responsibility is to ensure that individuals and businesses comply with the Commonwealth competition, fair trading and consumer protection laws.

Australian Energy Market Commission

The Australian Energy Market Commission is the rule maker and developer for Australian energy markets. As a national, independent body we make and amend the detailed rules for the National Electricity Market (NEM) and elements of natural gas markets.

Energy and Water Ombudsman (SA)

The AER is the Australian national energy market regulator and has an independent board. The AER shares staff, resources and facilities with the ACCC.

An Australian government website maintained by the AER. The aim of Energy Made Easy is to assist residential and small business energy customers to navigate the often complex electricity markets to find a suitable offer.
